Danny DeVito lookalike beaten up!

Alright, everybody, buckle up! The Boston Celtics have decided to ditch traditional basketball for what I can only describe as an impromptu remake of a fight scene, featuring none other than a Danny DeVito lookalike! Yes, you heard it right, folks. It’s more drama than a reality TV show finale over there!

So here’s the scoop. During a routine scrimmage—which was anything but routine—a Danny DeVito doppelgänger found himself in the middle of the ring… I mean, court. You’ve got to ask, was he there for a pick-up game or a pick-on game?

Marcus Smart, evidently confusing basketball with a boxing match, decided to throw a punch. Now, Marcus is a great defender, but as a boxer? Let’s just say he wouldn’t last a round in the ring. His punch missed so badly, I thought he was trying to swat a fly—maybe one buzzing around Danny’s head?

Then the chaos erupted. Teammates and coaches rushed in quicker than fans at a DeVito autograph session. It was less of a scramble and more of a “who can play peacekeeper fastest” competition. The sight of everyone dashing to break it up could have been set to circus music.

And amidst all this, there’s the coach, right? He’s suddenly got the toughest job in the NBA: part coach, part referee, part crisis negotiator. All he needed was a striped shirt and a whistle that screams, “Please remember this is basketball, not Fight Club!”
